LAMINADOS CAREVA S.L. has finished the project “EXPANSION OF THE PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY WITH A NEW PRINTING EQUIPMENT” co-financed by CDTI

The company LAMINADOS CAREVA S.L. has completed the project “EXPANSION OF PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY WITH NEW PRINTING EQUIPMENT”, with acronym PRINTINGEQUIP, with the aid of the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) of the Ministry of Industry, Economy and Competitiveness, co-financed by the European Union (ERDF Funds) through the Operational Programme for Intelligent Growth (2014-2020).
This Project began on July 2021 when the I+D members, in their investigative and research efforts, have set out the aim of developing and applying a new line of digital printing trough the Inkjet technology, in order to increase their market gap and consequently to increase their production capacity. In this way, they have taken a strategic leap forward by expanding their product range.
After 15 months of work at the facility in Bocairent and with a CDTI contribution of €350,950.50, the company has achieved its technological challenge.

EXTENSION OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY IN LAMINADOS CAREVA

LAMINADOS CAREVA SL is a company specialised in the manufacture of a wide variety of materials for the production of paper, plastic and aluminium packaging with a multitude of applications in the food industry.
Following the company’s development policy, some investments have been made as part of the project “EXPANSION OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY IN LAMINADOS CAREVA”, beneficiary of the AID TO IMPROVE THE COMPETITIVENESS AND SUSTAINABILITY OF INDUSTRIAL SMES (PYMES) IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY SECTORS SUCH AS THE FOOTWEAR SECTOR, CERAMICS, METAL-MECHANICS, TEXTILES, TOYS, MARBLE, WOOD-FURNITURE AND LIGHTING, CHEMICAL, AUTOMOTIVE, PLASTIC, PACKAGING, CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS, PAPER AND GRAPHIC ARTS, WASTE RECOVERY AND THE EMERGING SECTORS OF BIOTECHNOLOGY, AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION AND VIDEO GAME PRODUCTION, IN THE THIRD PHASE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN FOR VALENCIAN INDUSTRY granted by the CONSELLERIA OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY, PRODUCTIVE SECTORS, TRADE AND LABOUR (CONSELLERIA DE ECONOMÍA SOSTENIBLE, SECTORES PRODUCTIVOS, COMERCIO Y TRABAJO).
This grant represents a subsidy of 152.393,50€ (INPYME/2021/72) for the acquisition of new equipment with innovative technology.
As a result, LAMINADOS CAREVA SL continues to improve its processes, with the incorporation of technology and an increase in its human team, in order to face the new challenges presented by the markets.
